White Collar "Scott Free" Nitpicks
|Season 3, Episode 6||Air Date: July 12, 2011|
When you watch a program over and over, you start to notice minor continuity issues, plot oversights and other goofs. This page is not intended to be a criticism aimed toward the show or anyone who works on White Collar. They produce a great show and should be proud of their work. That's why I titled it "Nitpicks" because to nitpick means "to be overly critical or criticize minor details." If it bothers you, please don't read them. This page is intended to be for people who love watching something and going "I never noticed that..."
Blushing Virgin? I don't get why Sara was so embarassed that Peter caught her at Neal's. First, Peter should already know that she and Neal are intimate--she was Neal's alibi the night the Nazi treasure was moved. Second, she is an strong, independant woman. Reacting like that doesn't seem to be in character for her.
Everthing's Titanium: In the episode, it was mentioned that both the Confederate motorcycle and the 7x3000 safe was made of titatium.
That's a Disguise? Scott has the lamest disguises I've ever seen. A cheap wig and goatee? No wonder everyone can figure out who he is! Didn't any of the White Collar writers watch the 80s TV show A-Team? Hanibal had elaborate disguises that involved wearing different costumes. I know, I'm dating myself.
Sick ATM? Since when do ATMs spew money out? Even if you could hack one, you wouldn't be able to change how the ATM delivers its money.
Step 2.5 Mozzie left his electronic device (along with his finger prints) at the ATM. Not to mention, name one ATM machine that doesn't have video. Wouldn't the bank catch Mozzie's image and discover who hacked their ATM?
Show Off! Why does Sara show the guard the bustier? Now the guard can testify that he saw the diamond bustier out of the office.
Great Guard! Shouldn't the only security guard know who is in the building and who is not? Why does the fact that she is a hooker change things? Either Mr. Carlisle is in the building or not.
Afternoon Delight? Do business men really have hookers come to their offices? I would think they would go to their homes or a hotel. I don't know, having never procured a hooker myself, but it seems strange.
